Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots

4"x6" oil on raymar panel. • When I was painting this, I could not help but think that this toy should be called "Constipated Robots." It's just the way the poor robots are bending in the middle. They just look, well, uncomfortable. A good regimen of high fiber would do these guys some good.  •  Anyway... These two have been keeping watch over me in my studio for a while and I wanted to take a shot to see if I would like to paint them larger. Right now, my verdict is "No." At least not until they modify their diet.  •  Happy Fourth of July!
