Brownie Starlet Camera (The Square One)

5"x5" oil on door skin. • This painting is basically a lab rat. The artist (that would be me) wanted to do another 30" x 30" painting of a relatively squarish camera and the artist (that would be me, yet again) wanted to experiment with the colors and background before tackling the immense spackling job that is a 30x30. This little painting served its purpose wonderfully and caused some changes in strategy when the 30x30 landed on the easel. Saved me a whole heckuva a lot of paint that may have been otherwise wasted chasing my tail.
