J's Toy Motorcycle

11"x14" oil on canvas. • I am back and, contrary to popular belief (and apparent hopes), I AM NOT DEAD. While I did lapse into several food induced comas and I may have have taken a few unsuccessful swats at The Spawn and handed out some lumps of coal—not an unusual occurrence when the Clan Logan convenes for the holidays—I did not kick the bucket.  •  I don't know what to say about the image above other than it is further proof that my camera hates reds. The evidence is the background, which has a lot more going on than just being a field of red next to red next to red. Oh well. The option to shoot my camera and replace it with a new one was not one of my New Year's resolutions, so we will just muddle along together—me and the evil, evil, evil little imp of camera that I have come to know and love.  •  Although this painting has sold, you may still view it in person at my show at the Sycamore Gallery (www.thesycamoregallery.com). The show runs until January 31st.
