Three of J's Bottles

12"x8" oil on canvas panel • The Pepsi and Coke bottles are from Mexico—don't ask me how we ended up with them because we don't drink soda, let alone soda from Mexico—and the vintage (old) 7up bottle belongs to The Spousal Unit. At first, I had just the two larger bottles in the set up and they just didn't look right. I must have been whining about it, because in She marched, slammed down the 7up bottle with one of those, "There! Now shut up and paint" kinda looks. So what did I do? I shut up and pushed the paint.

Report on the Beverly Hills Art Show
This past weekend I showed my wares at the Beverly Hills Art Show. Many friends and collectors came to visit, which is always nice. It was the first show where I presented my larger work and it was very well received. A pencil sharpener the size of a dishwasher does tend to draw peoples' attention. Oh, I sold a whole bunch of paintings and that is always nicer.
