Octagon Shed

4"x6" oil on raymar panel. If you stepped back from yesterday's painting, you would stumble into this out building. It would, of course, fall over and you would be hunted down like a dog for destroying a 110 year old landmark (110 is really old in California years). How it is still standing, I don't know. It is just a plain looking, long shed, but there was something about it, so here it is in paint. There is a fair amount of play in my warms and cools in this little painting. Whites and grays are wonderful playgrounds for an artist. I think this is the last in this series of Central Coast landscapes. I hope you enjoyed them.
