Barn Out On Buckley Road

4"x6" oil on raymar panel. Buckley Road cuts behind San Luis Obispo Airport. I use it to dodge San Luis Obispo proper on my way to Los Osos. I have driven by this barn a hundred times and finally decided to paint it. One reason for my composition is that the barn does look a little lonely sitting out in the field all by itself. The cows even ignore it, well they ignore just about everything. So, let's cram it down towards the bottom of the painting under a huge sky. In person, the brush strokes in the sky are much less obvious. I blame my camera, which, as we all know, is possessed by the devil.
