Friday's Skull

4"x6" oil on board. In accordance with international law, all artists must have in their studio a human skull. Whether it be real or plastic or if they decide to call it Yorick and have it present at all meals is up to the individual artist's sanity. This is mine – skull not sanity. He is made of some sort of plastic and I do, on occasion, refer to him as Yorick. Doesn't say much for my sanity, but he also wears glasses, swigs gin all day, often refers to me as Jeeves, and is president of our local Rotary Club. From Teletubbies to a skull. Can you tell it's Friday?
