20"x16" oil on canvas. Want to drive yourself crazy? Here's how: Buy two, not one, two batches of daffodils at Trader Joe's, shove them in a vase and paint them. All kidding aside, this was a bit complex. Again, I relied on a bit of abstraction to get me through and I think the flower behind the vase works for this composition. This was painted a little while ago so that it could be framed for the show this weekend. By a loose definition, it is still a daily painting, just not today's.
