6"x4" oil on gessoed door skin. I love painting like this.
Heck, I just love painting, but diving in like this is liberating. Just sketch it up with ultramarine and start painting. The decisions come fast and most often, intuitively. I don't have any technical comments except that I didn't care if the drawing was covered up and that I painted just for the joy of painting.
Okay, those aren't really technical aspects.
