4"x6" oil on gessoed door skin. This little campari tomato came out of our garden and has radiant green skin. Its beautiful greenness is also evidence that I really need to take those poor plants out. Painting the complimentary relationship between the green tomato and the red bowl seemed more interesting from the shadow side, revealing just enough of the brilliant spark the green skin gave off. By the way, we grew these plants from seed and they were great.Posted February 20, 2008
