Rocket Camera

6"x" oil on panel ••• I had been meaning to paint this little camera for some time. Well, finally getting off my duff, I just grabbed a board and did it. The masonite board is 6"x6", which is an odd size for me, but hey, at least I got it done. • In my ever shrinking mind, I had envisioned doing this bigger and at a different angle, but this felt right at the time and who knows, I may still do a bigger piece. • I think it was Titian who once said, "Sometimes you just have to slam it down and go for it." Or was it Mr. Rogers who said it? I can't remember (See above: "...ever shrinking mind...").
