Bonsai, Cognac, and Some Sort of Jam or Jelly

4"x6" oil on raymar panel • Every now and then, my gaze just wanders about the studio, picks out a few things and I throw them down and paint them. It does not matter the relationship of purpose is of the items, just what mood I am in that day and what I think looks interesting. I guess I could say that I practice torturing trees whilst liquored up and eating a bagel with a schmear of jam, but that has just never happened. Now, a bagel with a schmear of cream cheese, that's a possibility. (It would have to be a pretty big schmear.)
