Apple for 2013

6"x4" oil on masonite panel • Even though an apple tree resides just three steps outside my studio door, I rarely paint apples. So, I have decided to call this piece "Apple for 2013," because at the rate they are falling from the tree, this might be the only apple painting I do this year.

    I'm shocked to see something organic instead of a camera! Cool. I like the light on the ground.
