Valerie's Blue Bottle

4"x6" oil on raymar panel. • People proffer subject matter suggestions all the time, but it is rare when they actually send me the suggestion. Somebody sent me this bottle, and while sending me a subject does not necessarily guarantee that I will be inspired to paint it, this bottle being so beautiful, I just had to. So beautiful in fact, that it will probably pop up in some of my future pieces. Thanks Valerie.  •  If you thought I was going to talk about painting glass—glass and chrome having such similar characteristics—just refer to my previous post about chrome. Then do what I always suggest: Ignore everything I typed.
