Plug-in Percolator

10"x8" oil on canvas. Every now and then, I need to feed my addiction: Painting chrome. To feed the monkey, I have been known to resort to stealing—this percolator was pilfered from The Mother Unit's garage. It was in a box of items going to a local non-profit, so technically, I stole from a charity. How low can you get? Painting chrome is a wonderful, insanity inducing experience and I do not recommend it as a steady practice. Painting it requires trust and acceptance—don't over think it. Trust your initial abstract decisions and accept the inevitable accidents. Oh, and don't drink too much coffee.
