Zenith R615-Y Radio

4"x6" oil on raymar panel. • Not to scare you but... I have three of these mid-century, post-bakelite, Zenith radios that I have been thinking of painting larger. Testing them out small like this sometimes helps me grapple with a larger piece—sometimes not. This is a R615-Y made sometime in the 50's (?) and I think it is pretty cool with its glowing red power light above the on/off volume switch. Yep, that's me: easily distracted by bright and shiny.
