Carlton Camera

4"x6" oil on raymar panel. • I think they—whoever "they" are—refer to this type of old camera as a novelty camera. Whatever they are called, I like them for their styling. This one, with its deco-ish curves, is a pretty cool looking little camera. The only two debates that happened in my addled gray cells whilst painting this piece were One: Do I put the name of the camera in there? and Two: When do I break for lunch? Two, obviously being the more important question.
