20"x16" oil on canvas. Please find above the larger version of the Safari Inn sign. It is not only larger, but in different proportions to its smaller cousin. I tried to exorcise the devil from my camera to deliver you a good photo of this painting, but all he said was, "No way, pilgrim. I'm staying!" Who would have guessed it? The devil is John Wayne! There is so much to talk about with this painting, including how it caused my back to act up, but I am not in the mood to type about it—must be the twenty ibuprofen I took. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go look at our copy of "The Quiet Man" to see if I can spot any evidence of horns or at least a bifurcated tail on the Duke.
