6"x4" oil on board. Another handy thing to have around the household: barber shears. These are German made and can strike fear into the hearts of devious long-haired imps running around the house. My mother used to bribe me with bubblegum to let her use these on my locks. The painting challenge here are those various thin bits. When a thin line is needed, I sometimes put down a gob of paint and carve it down to a thin line with the surrounding hues.
