6"x4" oil on board. Ah chrome, it's like home. Chrome is one of those challenging surfaces that presses your decision making while painting. I find that it is usually best to just attack it and see what happens. Very often, the best decisions are to let things be. Chrome is easily overworked, so fixating on it can be a disaster. Just sit back, and accept some of your initial impulses, they are often correct anyway and can carry the life that is too easily wiped out if you go back in.
