4"x6" oil on gessoed door skin. The ever present bromo bottle with a meyer lemon from our tree. Meyer lemons are usually pretty big, but our crop this year consists of smaller lemons in mass quantity. Either way, meyers are sweet and it's lemonade time. Vertical or horizontal? The subjects could have gone either way. The horizontal format lends an elegance to it and ultimately works best (my opinion). I wasn't sure of the colors working together at first, but I think they form a pleasing harmony.
