4"x6" oil on gessoed door skin. I just threw this down on top of the table and this is what I got, so I painted it. The brushwork building up the cucumber's bumpy skin was a fun experiment. When I slowed down and really looked at this little fruit, I noticed all the different greens dancing on its skin. Again, green offered such a wide range of temperatures to deal with.Posted February 18, 2008
