10"x8" oil on canvas panel. This was a rather quick study. I was a little more concerned with the composition than painting the turnips correctly, so of course the turnips turned out pretty well. The other elements are forced parallel and horizontal instead of at their natural angles - not usual for me and a fun experiment. The alteration of elements, intensities and values has the interesting side effect of slightly tweaking the perspective.
