6"x4" oil on RayMar panel ••• This Kikkoman soy sauce bottle is roughly 2,000 years old. So, it wasn't
a surprise when its cap finally cracked and gave way under constant
Logan Family usage. Soy Sauce is life's blood itself in our household
and this bottle was never allowed to be empty. It would be hard for me
to steal and paint if it was not broken. I believe I succeeded once
years ago and I have been looked upon with harsh suspicion ever since. I
see that demonic, distrustful look in their eyes whenever I reach for
the sacred bottle: "Don't you even think about stealing our soy sauce!" •
Seeing as the bottle was so highly revered, it somehow seemed fitting
to display it in another bottle—kind of like a museum display. • So, without further ado, I now present to you... glass under glass.
