Ceramic Dragon

4"x6" oil on raymar panel • I picked up this little ceramic beauty down in Little Tokyo (don't worry, I paid for it—with money, not jail time). It is actually a toothpick holder, with a hole right underneath its tail. Having little wooden sticks emanating from its caboose looked a bit… odd, so I pulled them out—kind of like taking a cat's temperature—and proceeded with the mushing of the oil paints.  •  Somehow, the above commentary went from "beauty" to disgusting awfully fast. Sorry about that.
