LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett

6"x4" oil on raymar panel. Amongst the legion of LEGO mini figures that populate (rule) our domicile, this one seemed a bit lonely, so I painted him. Maybe it's the helmet, maybe it's the fact that the head under the helmet has no facial features (no eyes, no mouth, no nose—creepy?), maybe it's that he is a known intergalactic bounty hunter and assassin and he would kill you for just having bad table manners, or maybe it's just his Australian accent—whatever—this guy just seems to be a loner. To prove his 'lone wolf' status, he just stood there quietly, staring at me nefariously the entire time I was painting him. Good thing I took away his blaster rifle, with my table manners, I'd be toast.

FYI: The Cityscapes III Show is still at the George Billis Gallery/LA. I have a couple of urbanscapes participating (hanging) in this exhibit and I think the exhibit, overall, to be very good. Check it out.
