Yellow Gazanias

6"x4" oil on raymar panel. This South African native is a strong and versatile ground cover. It is one of the first plants we put in our current home's garden and lives on solely through its volunteers that have sprouted up and that I seem to be unable to kill. (And I am really good at killing plants, just not the ones I want to kill.)    She Who Is To Be Obeyed was doing a little gardening and whacked a few of these, so the next logical step was for me to paint them. The logic being: She told me to, so I did.
