Amber Bottle

6"x4" oil on raymar panel. Found this little amber bottle at a going out of business sale. Let's hope it brings me better luck than the store's. Anyway, while posting this little painting, I am also painting a larger piece and finding out that James Brown has the same duality of effect on painting that Sam & Dave has. While listening to The Godfather of Soul is beneficial in bringing up my spirits and rallying me back to attack mode on a painting I might be wrestling with, it also has the detrimental effect of making me want to move. And for a rhythmically challenged guy like me, that can be dangerous—I might injure myself or worse—I might injure the painting.
