4"x6" oil on raymar panel. All of the landscapes in this series are from around the same farm in Gaviota. This is the meadow and hills behind the barn in the last two paintings. It felt right to keep the green hues a little sweet in this series. After all, the California countryside stays green for such a short period of time, why not celebrate it? The intense greens on these hills are already fading to ochre.
