4"x6" oil on raymar panel. I was a little worried that this composition might appear rigid, but I think it worked out. It needed to be quiet, so back lighting the white tea bowl helped. If it was being hit straight on with light, it would probably have overpowered the rest of the composition. After all, one must have balance while drinking tea – the negative spaces are as important as the rest.Posted February 9, 2010
