4"x6" oil on board. What was I thinking? This was meant to be just a throw down and paint session. It turned out to be a bigger challenge with all its variations in values, hues, shapes, reflections, etc. It can drive you insane! You know, I think I might do it again, as soon as I recover that is. One of the great aspects of this daily painting thingy are the surprises it holds. There is a heck of a lot going on in this painting that I did not anticipate and that is good. Every subject contained here you've seen before, but thrown together they morph into a unique landscape.
