Morro Bay #2

6"x4" oil on board. This is that last of the landscapes I have for you. Painting water (Yikes!) was a unique challenge. Those of you familiar with Morro Bay know that the water really isn't this Bermuda-like in color. Honestly, I was more interested in the values of the water than the precise hues. If the values are messed up, the painting is messed up, so just relax and enjoy the water. This lonely boat mooring caught my eye with its triangular signs and ladder to nowhere. This view is actually seaward, the land in the background is the sandspit that forms Morro Bay.
