10"x8" oil on canvas. I painted this portrait a while ago. The session produced two paintings. The other canvas has already been sanded, gessoed and reborn as another painting. Somehow this painting survived my destructive critique and is alive today. This particular model has the propensity to fall asleep during her poses. I talked to her about it, and she told me of all the other jobs she has besides modeling and I came to the conclusion she deserves a nap every now and then.
