4"x6" oil on door skin. I've heard that people make all sorts of things from rose hips; marmalades to tea, and even wine. Me, I paint them. Actually, a house guest went out into our garden, cut this off and handed it to me with that unspoken, "Paint this!" look in her eye. So here it is, a rose hip from our one remaining rose bush. This ancient shrub has creamed cola colored flowers. This elderly hip is an evil looking thing that was probably a model for so many horror film creatures. Again, based on my history, just another wicked projectile to bean your brother with.
