6"x4" oil on door skin. You try holding up a seed pod with one hand and paint it with the other. Such situations teach you the human frame is not a reliably steady apparatus. This little pod is different in that the pods from this particular tree are usually much larger with more seeds inside and the pods come in clusters, not solo. Kids like to grab bunches of them and shake them like maracas, or in the more old world tradition: whack their friends or siblings with them. Ah, memories... The three seeds in this pod seemed a little timid and didn't look too enthused about coming out into the greater world. Don't we all have days like that?
