6"x4" oil on door skin. These poor pieces of fruit have been painted multiple times and were left in my studio to die slow deaths. The gourd has gone from squash to gourd to maraca and rattles quite nicely. The lemon just smelled funny and was actually discarded after this was finished. Even though they may gross you out, their beautiful colors were just too hard to resist. In particular, the rusty hues of the dead lemon.
