6"x4" oil on door skin. This painting is all about composition and values. Composing the subjects probably took me longer than the brushwork. But, as it is with painting, there are happy accidents and challenges along the way that keep painting ever changing and fresh. You might see the lemon again tomorrow, a little skinnier, of course.
