6"x4" oil on gessoed door skin. This was fun to paint backlit. Just a sliver of glowing yellow is sometimes more enticing than the whole thing being bombarded with light. What makes this lemon different from the meyer lemon I painted last week is that it has a cooler yellow skin and it is not completely ripe, giving it a little bit of green glow.
